UCLA 64, USC 54: The Bruins held the anemic offense of the rival Trojans to only six points in the first 14 minutes and got double-doubles from both Wear brothers.

It was the fourth straight win in the series for UCLA (15-11, 8-6 Pac-12), which led 31-16 at halftime. USC rallied to cut a 23-point second-half lead down to 13 with 7:11 to play but never got closer than 10 points the rest of the way.

David Wear led UCLA with 16 points and 14 rebounds while twin brother Travis Wear finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Trojans (6-21, 1-13 Pac-12), last in the conference, have lost five straight games. USC is ranked 342nd in the country in scoring at 53.3 points per game.

Byron Wesley had 16 points for USC and Garrett Jackson added 15.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Guard Maurice Jones entered the game as USC’s leading scorer but shot only 3 for 11 and finished with eight points. ... UCLA’s 19-point win at USC earlier in the season was its largest at the Galen Center in 30 years. ...The Bruins outrebounded the Trojans 44-24.
