Trae Golden registered 16 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench as host Tennessee rallied for a 73-62 victory over Georgia on Saturday.

Jeronne Maymon added a team-high 15 points for the Volunteers (11-12, 3-5 SEC), who avenged an earlier loss to the Bulldogs (10-12, 1-7) and improved to 8-1 over their last nine home games.

Tennessee, which gave Georgia its only conference win on Jan. 18, appeared to be in trouble against the Bulldogs again after Nemanja Djurisic hit a jumper to leave the Volunteers trailing 41-34 with 14:25 left in the game.

However, Jordan McRae and Golden hit 3-pointers on the next two possessions to ignite a 27-10 run over an 11-minute stretch to establish the first double-digit lead by either team.

The Bulldogs, who lost their fourth straight game despite committing a season-low five turnovers, shot only 36.4 percent from the field. Georgia has shot less than 40 percent in all but one SEC contest.

The frustration appeared to come to a head for Bulldogs coach Mark Fox with 20 seconds remaining as he was handed two quick technical fouls and ejected after protesting a non-foul call.

Freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope paced Georgia with 16 points and six rebounds.
