Justin Hamilton scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, lifting surging LSU past Ole Miss 81-55 Saturday in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers (11-4, 1-0 SEC), who have won nine of 10, jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead and were never threatened in both teams SEC opener.

The Rebels (10-5, 0-1 SEC) have lost four of five and were overwhelmed quickly by LSU.

Hamilton hit 9 of 12 shots in a dominating performance. Storm Warren (15 points), Anthony Hickey (12) and Andre Stringer (10) joined Hamilton in double figures.

No Rebel had more than Terrance Henry and Jelan Kendrick, who each finished with 8.
