California scored the first 10 points of the second half capped by a second-chance 3-pointer by Allen Crabbe as California hammered UCLA 85-69 in a Pac-12 Conference game in Berkeley, Calif. on Saturday.

Crabbe, who scored a team-high 20 points, got the long rebound off a missed 3-pointer by Jorge Gutierrez and buried his 3-point attempt as the Golden Bears built a double-digit lead early in the second half and never looked back to win their second straight conference game.

Crabbe later hit another 3-pointer as California outscored UCLA 22-6 in the first eight minutes of the second half to give the Bears a 17-point advantage. Cal (12-3, 2-0 Pac-12) eventually led by as many as 24 points.

Six Cal players scored in double figures as the Golden Bears shot 65 percent in the game. Gutierrez added 16 points and walk-on Robert Thurman was 5-for-5 from the field and finished with 11 points.

UCLA (7-7, 0-2 Pac-12) got a career-best 26 points from Tyler Lamb and 17 from David Wear but the Bruins lost their second straight.

Cal improved to 11-0 at home.
