Elijah Johnson scored 14 points, Conner Teahan added 13, and No. 11 Kansas pulled away in the second half to beat Southern Cal 63-47 Thursday in Los Angeles.

Thomas Robinson had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Jayhawks (8-3), who rebounded from a surprising 80-74 loss to Davidson on Monday. Jeff Withey had nine points and eight rebounds.

One game after scoring a season high 83 points in a win over Texas Christian, the Trojans (5-8) shot just 22.7 percent and scored a season-low 13 points in the first half.

After allowing 47 points in the second half to Davidson, Kansas held Southern Cal to 34.7 percent shooting while outrebounding the Trojans 37-26.

Aaron Fuller scored 19 points for Southern Cal, while Maurice Jones was 2-of-13 shooting for seven points.

Playing its first true road game, Kansas extended its lead with a 15-4 run midway through the second half. Kansas shot 22-of-53 (41.5 percent) from the field.
