Jon Leuer had 22 points and Jordan Taylor added 21 as fourth-seeded Wisconsin pulled away from 13th seed Belmont for a 72-58 victory in the second round of the NCAA Southeast Regional Thursday at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz.

Wisconsin will play Kansas State on Saturday.

Mike Bruesewitz, questionable all week with a knee sprain, added eight points and nine rebounds for Wisconsin (24-8), which made 12 of 22 from 3-point range and outrebounded Belmont, 29-17. Taylor had five of the 3-pointers and six assists for the Badgers, who have won nine of their last 10 opening games in the NCAA tournament.

Mick Hedgepeth had 17 points and Kerron Johnson 13 for Belmont (30-5), which averaged 80.4 points coming into the game and finished with its lowest total of the season.

Wisconsin made seven of its 14 attempts from behind the 3-point arc in the first half and finished with an 11-2 run to take a 34-27 halftime lead. Taylor led all scorers with 14 points in the first 20 minutes. Belmont was within 43-39 early in the second half before the Badgers went on a 13-1 run to take control.
