Georgetown took a second-half punch from Wofford, but delivered a knockout blow shortly after and rolled to a 74--59 win Friday at the Charleston (S.C.) Classic.

Georgetown built a 13-point halftime lead, but saw Wofford get back within five midway through the second half.

The Hoyas answered the Terriers' surge with a 9-0 run to go back up 14 with eight minutes to play and maintained a double-digit lead down the stretch. Chris Wright sparked the Hoya run and finished with a team-high 18 points and five assists. Austin Freeman, the preseason Big East Player of the Year, added 14 for Georgetown.

The Hoyas (4-0) advance to Sunday's championship game and will play the winner of North Carolina State and George Mason.

Wofford returns the core from last year's team, which put a scare in Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The defending Big South champions managed to hang with the Hoyas, despite shooting just 34 percent from the field.

The Terriers (1-3) will play the loser of the Wolfpack and Patriots in the third-place game on Sunday. Noah Dahlman led Wofford with 19 points.

Georgetown attempted 30 3-pointers in a first-round win over Coastal Carolina. The Hoyas attempted only eight against Wofford.
