Kalin Lucas' free throw with 30.2 seconds remaining in overtime put No. 24 Michigan State ahead for good as the Spartans rallied for a 64-61 win over No. 21 Wisconsin in a Big Ten game Tuesday night.

Draymond Green scored 26 points to lead the Spartans (11-5, 3-1 Big Ten), who trailed by nine late in regulation.

Jordan Taylor scored 21 points and Keaton Nankivil added 17 for Wisconsin (12-4, 2-2 Big Ten).

The Badgers went ahead with a little over 14 minutes remaining and built a 51-42 lead with 2:43 to play, but Michigan State went on an 11-2 run and tied the game on Korie Lucious' 3-pointer with 52 seconds left.

Neither team scored on its final possession and the game went into overtime. Lucas' free throw broke a 61-61 tie. Taylor missed a jumper with five seconds left and Lucas, who scored 17 points, was fouled and made both free throws, sealing the win.

Wisconsin was ahead the entire first half, building a 19-7 lead at the 8:55 mark. Michigan State ended the half on a 13-4 run and trailed 23-20 at halftime.

The Spartans took the lead for the first time early in the second half, but Wisconsin went on top 33-31, on Nankivil's 3-pointer with 14:10 remaining.
