Sophomore guard Anthony Marshall scored a game-high 17 points as No. 22 Nevada-Las Vegas snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday with a 72-50 victory over visiting Southern Utah.

UNLV (10-2) had nine players score as the Rebels won their 21st straight game against the Thunderbirds.

Carlos Lopez had 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for UNLV, which shot 45 percent from the field and never trailed. The game was a marked turnaround for UNLV, which shot 29 percent from the field in its 68-62 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday.

UNLV led 16-10 with 10:27 left in the first half, but used a 21-8 run to take a 37-18 lead at halftime. The Rebels had 13 steals and forced 21 Southern Utah turnovers.

Matt Hodgson scored 12 points and pulled down 12 rebounds off the bench for Southern Utah (3-8), which has dropped four of its past five games.
