Toney McCray finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Jorge Brian Diaz added 13 and 12 as Nebraska cruised to a 70-56 victory over Texas Christian on Saturday.

Lance Jeter added 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting for the Cornhuskers, who shot an even 50 percent (24-of-48) in the contest.

Nebraska led 33-24 at the break, holding the Horned Frogs to 30 percent shooting in the first 20 minutes, including 4-of-15 from 3-point range. Diaz controlled the inside, pulling down eight rebounds as the Cornhuskers enjoyed a 23-13 edge on the glass.

TCU (7-4) came back to make it interesting early in the second half, taking a 36-33 lead when Garlon Green drained a 3-pointer at the 16-minute mark. The Horned Frogs stayed close and trailed only 46-45 with 10:58 left. But Nebraska (8-2) took control from there, ripping off a 13-0 spurt and sprinting to the finish.

Nebraska has won six in a row and will play its next five at home before the schedule toughens with back-to-back trips to No. 11 Missouri and No. 4 Kansas in the middle of January.
