Dion Dixon scored a team-high 17 points and Cashmere Wright scored 10 as Cincinnati rolled over Toledo 81-47 on Saturday.

Sean Kilpatrick and Larry Davis led the reserve corps with nine points apiece as coach Mick Cronin emptied his bench in the blowout and got 13 players into the box score for the Bearcats.

Cincinnati (7-0) took over in the first half and led 53-21 while shooting 64.5 percent (20 for 31) from the field and 8 of 14 from 3-point range. The Bearcats mauled the Rockets on defense as well, holding them to 32 percent (7-of-22) and forcing 10 turnovers in the opening 20 minutes.

A soft early schedule got Cincinnati through Thanksgiving and wins against mid-major powers Dayton and Wright State legitimized its undefeated record to a certain extent. The Bearcats landed in the "also receiving votes'' category of the Top 25 this week, and are certainly a candidate to jump into the rankings on Monday along with several other Big East powers.

Delino Dear scored 18 points for the Rockets (0-8), who haven't scored 70 or more points in a game this season.
