Kendall Williams scored 13 points and Tony Snell and Alex Kirk had 10 points apiece as the Lobos rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat the host Bulldogs.

Cameron Bairstow’s dunk put the Lobos up 49-48 with 1:29 remaining, and New Mexico (21-4, 8-2) never trailed again. Bairstow had six points and 10 rebounds for the Lobos, who beat Fresno State by 27 on Jan. 12.

Kevin Olekaibe had 11 points and Kevin Foster scored all 10 of his points in the first half for the Bulldogs (8-15, 2-8), who shot 32.7 percent from the field and were 9-of-24 from 3-point range.

Fresno State closed the first half with a 22-2 run to lead 31-20, but New Mexico answered with a 19-9 run to start the second half. Olekaibe’s 3-pointer gave the Bulldogs a 48-45 lead with 3:47 left, but they were unable to score another point.

The Lobos were 5-of-19 from 3-point range, and are just 14-for-66 (21.2 percent) over their last four road games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Lobos improved to 68-2 under coach Steve Alford when allowing fewer than 60 points. … Foster had 10 rebounds for Fresno State, which was seeking its first win against a ranked opponent since 2002 ... New Mexico, which lost 64-55 to UNLV on Saturday, improved to 4-0 this season when following a loss.
