Desmond Bane scored 24 points, Dillon Brooks added 23 and Jaren Jackson Jr. pitched in 21 on Friday night as the visiting Memphis Grizzlies used a balanced attack to overpower the Sacramento Kings 124-105 for their fifth straight win.

In completing a two-game road sweep that began with a victory at Portland on Wednesday, Memphis led just 66-62 four minutes into the third period before Bane had nine of his points in a 25-13 run that allowed the visitors to claim a 91-75 advantage by quarter's end.

When Bane bombed in a pair of 3-pointers, Killian Tillie added a third and Jackson converted a three-point play, the Grizzlies' margin mushroomed to 103-77 in the second minute of the fourth quarter, blowing the game wide open.

Bane shot 4-for-5 on 3-pointers to account for half his game-high point total.

De'Anthony Melton chipped in with 19 points off the bench, Tyus Jones had 14 and Steven Adams notched a game-high 12 rebounds for Memphis, which had a similarly one-sided 128-101 win over Sacramento last month.

Melton also found time for a game-high four steals, while Kyle Anderson contributed six points, six rebounds and a team-high six assists to the cause.

The Grizzlies, who have won 10 of 11 after a 9-10 start, outshot the Kings 46.4 percent to 40.9 percent, and while each team made 13 3-pointers, it took Memphis just 24 attempts, whereas Sacramento fired up 35 of them.

All five Kings starters scored in double figures, led by Tyrese Haliburton with 21 points and Harrison Barnes with 20.

Haliburton completed the fourth double-double of his rookie season with a game-high 10 assists.

Chimezie Metu collected a team-high 11 rebounds as part of a double-double of his own with 18 points, while Buddy Hield added 15 points and Tristan Thompson 12 for the Kings, who lost for the fourth time in their last five games.

The Kings played without guard De'Aaron Fox, who entered COVID protocols on the eve of the contest.
