Hawks 104, Mavericks 87: Dennis Schroder scored 17 points off the bench and host Atlanta dominated the second half to knock off Dallas.

Kyle Korver had 16 points and Paul Millsap added 15 and eight rebounds for the Hawks, who improved to 26-4 at home. DeMarre Carroll chipped in 13 points while both Al Horford and Jeff Teague finished with 11 for Atlanta.

Monta Ellis scored 19 points to lead the shorthanded Mavericks, who were without starters Rajon Rondo (suspension), Tyson Chandler (hip) and Chandler Parsons (ankle). J.J. Barea had 13 points and Bernard James grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in a rare start as Dallas fell to 20-6 against Eastern Conference opponents.

Ellis had a pair of baskets to bookend an 8-0 run that put Dallas up 26-13 and Barea's 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the first quarter made it 34-20. Korver and Carroll made back-to-back 3-pointers to pull Atlanta within 49-47 but another late Barea hoop gave the Mavericks a 53-47 advantage at halftime.

The Hawks scored 13 straight points - seven by Millsap - to surge ahead 66-57 midway through the third en route to a 77-68 advantage entering the fourth. Schroder and Horford combined to score the first nine points of the final period and Korver had a 3-pointer as the lead ballooned to 89-68, and Atlanta coasted to the finish line.
