Spurs 95, Pacers 93: Marco Belinelli sank a baseline jumper with 2.1 seconds left to break a tie and visiting San Antonio held on as coach Gregg Popovich earned his 1,000th career victory.

Tony Parker had 19 points and six assists and Tim Duncan finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and five blocks for the Spurs, who have won 14 of their last 15 games against the Pacers. Belinelli added 12 points off the bench, Kawhi Leonard contributed 10 points and Danny Green grabbed 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which was making the second stop on a nine-game road trip.

Rodney Stuckey scored 18 points and David West had 10 points, a season-high 18 rebounds and seven assists for the Pacers, who had their season-long three-game winning streak snapped. C.J. Miles contributed 13 points, Luis Scola finished with 11 and fellow reserve Solomon Hill scored 10 for Indiana.

The shot clock was winding down when Belinelli pump faked from the corner 3-point line, then pulled up for his game-winner. The Spurs trailed by 14 points entering the fourth quarter and by nine after Miles scored inside with 5:35 left, but San Antonio gathered itself and shot back with a 9-0 run to tie the score for the 14th time in the game.

The Spurs, who shot a season low 33.3 percent from the field in Sunday’s loss at the Toronto Raptors, converted eight of their first nine shots to jump out to an 18-10 lead. They led by 10 just past the midway point of the second quarter, but the Pacers reeled them back in and San Antonio’s advantage was trimmed back to two entering the second half

GAME NOTEBOOK: Duncan went over 45,000 career minutes during the game, trailing on Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant among active players, and his 1,301st career game moved him past Ray Allen for No. 14 on the league’s all-time list. … Spurs G Manu Ginobili took the game off for rest, but was hobbling at end of Sunday’s loss to Toronto after appearing to take a knee to the thigh. … Popovich is the ninth NBA coach to reach 1,000 career wins.
