Bucks 113, Lakers 105 (OT): Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-best 25 points and Brandon Knight scored 12 of his 24 points in the extra session as host Milwaukee defeated Los Angeles for its fifth consecutive victory.

Khris Middleton had 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Bucks, who recovered from a six-point deficit with 1:01 left in regulation. O.J. Mayo also scored 21 points and made five 3-point baskets, including one with less than a second remaining to force overtime.

Carlos Boozer scored a season-best 28 points and Ed Davis collected a career-best 20 rebounds for the Lakers, who have lost 11 of their last 12 games. Wayne Ellington scored 19 points and Nick Young added 16 for Los Angeles.

Boozer’s basket gave Los Angeles a six-point lead with 61 seconds left in regulation but Mayo and Knight drained 3-pointers to pull the Bucks within 94-91 and Mayo knocked down a tying 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left to force overtime. Boozer scored back-to-back hoops to bring the Lakers within 104-103 with 1:19 left in overtime before Knight connected on a 3-pointer and Milwaukee protected the lead.

Los Angeles led 54-46 at halftime before the Bucks rolled off 17 straight points in the third quarter to turn a nine-point deficit into an eight-point lead and take a 74-68 lead into the final stanza. Milwaukee held an 82-79 lead after Jerryd Bayless’ basket with 6:20 remaining in regulation before Los Angeles rolled off eight straight points for an 87-82 edge with 2:36 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Lakers grabbed 18 offensive boards and possessed a 53-35 edge on the boards. … Knight made four 3-pointers and also contributed eight assists and seven rebounds. … Ellington had a season-high five of Los Angeles’ nine 3-point baskets.
