Bucks 101, Pistons 86: O.J. Mayo scored 20 points off the bench and spearheaded a 3-point barrage as Milwaukee pounded Detroit.

Khris Middleton had 16 points and seven rebounds and Brandon Knight added 14 points and five assists for the Bucks, who sank 10 of their first 13 3-point attempts, including three by Mayo inside of a one-minute span, and finished 11-of-17. Mayo shot 8-of-14, including 4-of-5 from the arc, as Milwaukee topped the century mark in scoring for the first time in 11 games.

Brandon Jennings had 16 points before leaving with a left-leg injury in the third quarter as Detroit lost for just the fourth time in its last 16 games. Greg Monroe had eight points and 16 rebounds for the Pistons, who shot 36 percent, including 6-of-25 from the arc.

Jared Dudley tied the game at 38 with a shot from the arc with 7:53 left in the second, and Mayo drained a trio of 3-pointers over a 47-second span that turned a five-point lead into a 54-40 edge with 4:33 left in the half. During the second quarter, Milwaukee made 14-of-22 shots, including 6-of-7 from the arc, during a 40-point explosion as the Bucks turned a five-point deficit entering the quarter into a 63-49 halftime lead.

The Bucks opened the second half with a 17-2 run, highlighted by 3-pointers by Middleton, Knight and Ersan Ilyasova. Milwaukee led by as much as 30, took a 24-point lead into the fourth and closed out its third win in four games against Detroit this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bucks last reached the century mark in a 104-94 overtime triumph over Charlotte on Dec. 29. … Jennings entered averaging 20 points and 7.2 assists in his previous 15 games. … Milwaukee won for just the third time in its last nine home games.
