Spurs 89, Jazz 69: Tiago Splitter scored 14 points and host San Antonio held Utah to its lowest point total in nearly 16 years.

Danny Green scored all of his 13 points in the fourth quarter and Aron Baynes finished with 12 and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, who won their third straight contest despite shooting 38.8 percent. Kawhi Leonard had 12 points and nine boards as San Antonio had its starting lineup together for the second straight game and just the third time all season.

Rudy Gobert had 13 points, a career-high 18 rebounds and four blocks for the Jazz, who last scored 69 points on April 20, 1999 in a loss to the Spurs. Gordon Hayward scored 10 points and Derrick Favors added 13 rebounds as Utah shot a season-low 33.3 percent and dropped its fourth game in five.

San Antonio held Utah to 11-of-45 shooting in the first half and got 10 points and eight boards from Leonard to take a 43-27 lead at the half. A 3-pointer by Manu Ginobili gave the Spurs a 23-15 edge after the first quarter, and Leonard scored seven points during a 15-6 run to close the second period - ending it with a jumper at the buzzer.

Four straight points by Splitter pushed the lead to 18 early in the third, and Utah drew within 12 on several occasions before Ginobili capped a 7-1 with a driving hoop as the Spurs took a 66-47 edge into the final stanza. Green hit a jumper and a trio of 3-pointers in the first five minutes of the fourth, and a shot from the arc by Boris Diaw pushed the lead to 82-56 with 6:20 to play and the Spurs cruised home.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Leonard had 20 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals in 31 minutes against Portland in his first game back after missing 15 games with a torn ligament in his right hand. … Jazz G Rodney Hood left in the fourth quarter with a left foot injury. … Gobert is averaging 10 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.2 blocks in his last nine games.
