Warriors 117, Pacers 102: Klay Thompson exploded for 27 of his 40 points in the second half as Golden State knocked off visiting Indiana to run its latest winning streak to five straight.

Stephen Curry collected 21 points and a season high-tying 15 assists while Marreese Speights scored 18 points for the Warriors. David Lee matched his season high with 13 points off the bench and Andrew Bogut (knee) came back from a 12-game absence to grab eight rebounds in 15 minutes for Golden State.

Solomon Hill scored 21 points and David West had 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists to lead the Pacers. Luis Scola and Donald Sloan each scored 14 points off the bench and Lavoy Allen had 12 points and nine rebounds in a reserve role for Indiana.

Thompson scored the Warriors’ first seven points of the fourth quarter to spread the advantage to 91-79 and capped a 7-0 burst with five straight to make it 98-84 with 7:30 left. The Pacers cut it to a nine-point deficit with 4:16 left but Thompson found Speights for a pair of baskets to stretch it back out and Indiana did not threaten the rest of the way.

The Pacers held an 11-point lead midway through the second quarter before Curry hit a pair of 3-pointers and Thompson added another in a 19-8 run that knotted it at 50 at the break. Thompson scored 10 points during a 14-1 run beginning the third and scored the final five points of the period to send Golden State into the fourth with an 84-76 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Curry’s first 3-pointer gave him 1,000 in his career, making him the fastest to reach the mark in NBA history at 369 games (Dennis Scott, 457). … Thompson has hit multiple 3-pointers in 12 straight games – the longest active streak in the NBA. … Pacers C Roy Hibbert left in the first quarter with an ankle injury and did not return.
