Pacers 105, Jazz 101: Roy Hibbert had 22 points and eight rebounds and Luis Scola scored 16 points off the bench as visiting Indiana defeated Utah.

C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey added 13 points apiece as the Pacers won for the sixth time in nine games. Indiana let a double-digit lead get away while losing to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday and almost did so again as the Jazz moved within 101-100 on two free throws by Derrick Favors with 9.5 seconds left before C.J. Watson and Solomon Hill each hit two free throws to seal it for Indiana.

Derrick Favors had 27 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, which was without point guard Trey Burke (strep throat) and center Enes Kanter (ankle). Gordon Hayward added 24 points and seven assists, Dante Exum scored 13 points and Trevor Booker added 12.

Utah trailed by 16 late in the third quarter but pulled within 78-74 on Booker’s dunk with eight minutes remaining in the contest. Hill had two three-point plays during a 13-4 burst that gave Indiana a 91-78 lead with 4:15 to play before the Jazz made a run and pulled within five on Booker’s three-point play with 55.7 seconds left.

The Pacers led by as many as 19 in the second quarter and settled for a 53-39 lead at the break. The Jazz pulled within 10 with eight minutes left in the third quarter after back-to-back 3-pointers by Exum and later scored the final four points of the period to trail 74-62 entering the final stanza.
