: Damian Lillard had 26 points and nine assists as host Portland beat Eastern Conference-leading Toronto.

LaMarcus Aldridge, who had missed three of the previous four games with an illness, finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who have won nine of their last 10. Wesley Matthews added 19 points with help from 5-for-10 shooting from 3-point range and Nicolas Batum finished with 13 points for Portland.

Kyle Lowry had 25 points and seven rebounds to lead the Raptors. James Johnson added 14 points and a season-high 11 boards and Jonas Valanciunas finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Toronto.

Terrence Ross sank a 3-pointer to start the overtime for Toronto but Portland came back with nine straight points, all on 3-pointers, to go up by six. The Raptors got back within two with 57 seconds left but Portland shot 4-for-6 from the free throw line before Joel Freeland sealed the win with a dunk with six seconds remaining.

The Raptors led by nine early in the fourth quarter but a 7-0 run by Portland cut the deficit to two with 6:30 left. The Trail Blazers stayed within reach until Aldridge nailed a 20-footer to put Portland on top 87-85 with 1:36 remaining and that score remained until Johnson banked in a jump hook with four seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Trail Blazers, who came in 51-for-110 from 3-point range in the last three games, shot 12-for-36 from beyond the arc. … The Raptors are the only NBA team ranked in the top 5 in scoring in each quarter this season. …. Matthews is 26-for-52 from 3-point range in the last five games.
