Raptors 95, Knicks 90 (OT):
Kyle Lowry collected 21 points, 11 assists and six steals as visiting Toronto outlasted New York.

Terrence Ross added a season-high 22 points and Louis Williams had 15 off the bench for the Raptors, who improved to 5-2 in December. Patrick Patterson nailed a 3-pointer and Lowry followed with two jumpers as Toronto began overtime with a 9-1 run to put the game away.

Carmelo Anthony recorded 34 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks, who did not have a field goal until the final five seconds of the extra period. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 points as New York fell for the 11th time in 12 games.

Patterson’s 3-pointer with 6:50 left gave the Raptors an 80-77 lead and four free throws from Lowry pushed the advantage to five points before Amar’e Stoudemire scored and Anthony buried a 3-pointer out of a timeout to knot it at 84. Ross came right back with a basket to put Toronto back in front but Anthony’s layup knotted it again and the Raptors missed two chances to win in regulation.

The Knicks took a 46-45 lead into the half and led by six points early in the third before Toronto recovered and jumped on top 72-67 heading to the fourth. Williams and Pablo Prigioni traded 3-pointers to knot it at 77 with 7:05 to play.
