Clippers 121, Suns 120 (OT): Blake Griffin’s 3-pointer hit the front of the rim, popped in the air and fell through the basket as time expired, lifting Los Angeles to the win over visiting Phoenix.

Griffin finished with a season-high 45 points and eight rebounds for the Clippers, who have won eight in a row. Chris Paul added 20 points and 10 assists and J.J. Redick contributed 17 points for the Clippers.

Eric Bledsoe recorded his first career triple-double for the Suns, finishing with a season-high 27 points, a career high-tying 11 rebounds and a career-best 16 assists. Markieff Morris added 21 points and Goran Dragic finished with 17.

The Suns were leading by four with 34 seconds left in overtime when Matt Barnes won a jump ball against P.J. Tucker and Redick immediately scored inside. Dragic then shot an airball on the other end, resulting in a shot clock violation with five seconds left and setting up Griffin’s step-back game-winner.

The Clippers led by as many as 12 late in third quarter and took a nine-point advantage into the fourth, but things began to unravel when Clippers guard Jamal Crawford received back-to-back technical fouls with 9:13 remaining and was ejected for the first time in his career. Bledsoe made both free throws and Gerald Green sank a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession for a 96-94 lead by the Suns, but neither team could build on five-point leads the remainder of regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Suns G Isaiah Thomas missed his seventh straight game with an ankle injury. … This was only the second game in the last 13 by the Clippers that was settled by less than 13 points. … Crawford, a 15-year veteran, was ejected for the first time in 976 career games.
