Cavaliers 111, Bucks 108: Kyrie Irving scored 28 points as Cleveland's three stars combined for 81 in the win against visiting Milwaukee.

Kevin Love added 27 points and 10 rebounds and LeBron James finished with 26 points and 10 assists as the Cavaliers won their fourth in a row. Shawn Marion added 10 points and Anderson Varejao contributed eight points and eight rebounds for Cleveland.

Brandon Knight had 27 points, eight assists and three steals to lead Milwaukee, which fell a half-game behind the Cavaliers in the Central Division. Jabari Parker contributed 22 points and eight rebounds and O.J. Mayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 14 apiece for the Bucks.

Love’s 3-pointer with 4:43 remaining tied the score at 89 and the Bucks never led again as Irving followed with a three-point play and James scored on a driving layup 29 seconds later to extend the lead to five with 3:47 left. Mike Miller sank a 3-pointer to push the lead to six, Tristan Thompson’s layup made it a seven-point margin with 1:44 on the clock and James shot 8-for-10 from the free-throw line in the final 33 seconds to seal the win.

Both sides built double-digit leads during the first three quarters before the teams emerged tied at 79 to start the fourth. The Bucks went nearly 4 1/2 minutes without a field goal to start the final quarter but the Cavaliers were also slow to start the frame and could only move ahead by one.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova left the game with a facial contusion after taking an inadvertent elbow from Thompson during the second quarter and did not return. Ilyasova had nine points in 12 minutes before the injury. … Varejao returned after missing Saturday’s win against the Indiana Pacers with a rib contusion. … Love, who scored 17 points in the opening quarter, is shooting 33-for-48 while averaging 24 points over the last four games.
