Nets 104, Heat 90: Joe Johnson made five 3-pointers while scoring 19 points and Andray Blatche had 15 points and 10 rebounds as host Brooklyn outclassed Miami to tighten up the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Mirza Teletovic scored 12 points on four 3-pointers as the Nets were 15-of-25 from behind the arc while cutting the Heat’s lead to 2-1 in the series. Paul Pierce had 14 points and Deron Williams recorded 11 assists for Brooklyn, which will try to even the series when it hosts Game 4 on Monday.

LeBron James scored 28 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 for Miami, which was outscored 26-14 in the third quarter. Chris Bosh added 12 points for the Heat, who lost for the first time this postseason.

Teletovic drained a 3-pointer to start the fourth quarter to give Brooklyn a 17-point lead and the Heat never made a sustained final-stanza push. A 3-pointer by Pierce made it a 20-point margin with 4:52 left and Miami crept back within 11 with under two minutes remaining before Williams hit two free throws and Johnson drained a corner 3-pointer to seal it.

James had 16 first-quarter points before slowing down and scoring two in the second as the Heat trailed 51-49 at halftime. Miami was within 59-56 after James split two free throws with 7:22 left in the third quarter before the Nets rolled off nine straight and later stretched the lead to 16 en route to a 77-63 edge entering the fourth quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami had won eight consecutive postseason games – tied for most in franchise history – before the Game 3 setback. … The Nets controlled the boards by a 43-27 margin and had twice as many assists (26 to 13). … G Shaun Livingston (12) and C Kevin Garnett (10) also scored in double digits for Brooklyn.
