Wizards 104, Bucks 91: Bradley Beal led the way with 26 points and Marcin Gortat added 13 points and 13 rebounds as Washington cruised past visiting Milwaukee.

John Wall collected 15 points and eight assists and Trevor Ariza scored 13 for the Wizards, who stayed one game ahead of the Charlotte Bobcats in the race for the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference. Al Harrington added 12 points off the bench and Trevor Booker scored 11 for Washington.

Khris Middleton scored 20 points for the Bucks, who lost for the 15th time in 17 games. Ramon Sessions added 20 points and eight assists as Milwaukee clinched at least a tie for the worst record in the NBA.

The Wizards were up just 71-69 with 5:14 left in the third quarter when they began to make their move. Martell Webster capped a 13-1 run with a 3-pointer and carried a 13-point lead into the final period.

Webster and Harrington hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cap a 10-2 run kicking off the fourth, pushing the lead to 97-76 with nine minutes remaining. Washington went over 5 1/2 minutes without a field goal but Milwaukee only managed to draw within 16 points before Gortat broke the drought, and the Bucks never got it to single digits.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bucks G Brandon Knight (hip) was scratched from the lineup and is day-to-day. … The Wizards went 8-of-22 from 3-point range after combining to hit 6-of-50 from beyond the arc over the previous three contests. … Milwaukee F Jeff Adrien recorded his third double-double in four games with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
