Cavaliers 106, Knicks 100: Jarrett Jack scored 13 of his season-high 31 points in the fourth quarter and added a season-best 10 assists as visiting Cleveland came from behind to knock off New York.

Dion Waiters scored 22 points and Luol Deng returned from a three-game absence to chip in 13 for the Cavaliers, who trailed by 17 points in the first half. Alonzo Gee added 11 points off the bench as Cleveland snapped a four-game slide.

Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points and J.R. Smith had 18 as the Knicks had an eight-game winning streak come to an end. Raymond Felton collected 14 points and eight assists as New York missed an opportunity to gain ground on the Atlanta Hawks and remained three games behind in the race for the No. 8 spot in the East.

Jack scored five straight points to knot it at 90 with 7:28 left and the Cavaliers took a 93-92 lead on Deng’s 3-pointer with 5:45 on the clock. Anderson Varejao’s basket capped a 7-0 burst to give Cleveland a 100-94 advantage with 2:36 remaining, and Jack’s jumper with 24 seconds left kept it a two-possession gave as the Cavaliers closed it out.

Anthony put up 18 points in the first half as the Knicks cruised into the break with a 61-46 lead. The Cavaliers scored the first nine points of the third to cut into the deficit and drew within 73-70 before New York pushed it back to 84-77 heading into the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jack was starting in place of G Kyrie Irving (biceps), who missed his fourth straight game. … The Cavaliers shot 60.9 percent from the field and knocked down 9-of-18 from 3-point range. … New York begins a five-game Western Conference road trip on Tuesday at Los Angeles.
