Clippers 102, Cavaliers 80: Blake Griffin had 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as host Los Angeles cruised past Cleveland for its 11th consecutive victory.

Chris Paul had 16 points and 15 assists and DeAndre Jordan contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers, who moved within one game of second-place Oklahoma City in the Western Conference race. Reggie Bullock scored 14 points off the bench as one of seven players in double digits as Los Angeles matched the second-longest winning streak in franchise history – put together by the 1974-75 Buffalo Braves.

Luol Deng scored 23 points for the Cavaliers, who lost All-Star guard Kyrie Irving to a first-quarter biceps injury. Dion Waiters added 15 points and Spencer Hawes scored 14 as Cleveland shot just 34.9 percent from the field while having a two-game winning streak halted.

Los Angeles saw its 19-point lead dwindled to seven with 9:22 left before rattling off 10 straight points, capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Matt Barnes and Paul. The Clippers boosted the lead to 22 on Willie Green’s 3-pointer while improving to 29-5 at home.

Griffin had 15 first-half points as the Clippers took a 52-38 lead into the break. The margin was 21 points early in the third quarter and Los Angeles had a 76-59 advantage before Cleveland scored the first 10 points of the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Clippers PG Darren Collison sat out with a stomach virus while SG Jamal Crawford (calf) was sidelined for the seventh time in eight games. … Irving had two points on 0-of-5 shooting in 10 minutes before exiting. … Griffin has scored 20 or more points in 26 consecutive games.
