Spurs 122, Jazz 104: Manu Ginobili scored 21 points and Tony Parker had 18 points and seven assists as host San Antonio defeated Utah for its 10th consecutive victory.

Tim Duncan added 16 points and Tiago Splitter had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who became the first team to reach 50 wins this season while increasing their Western Conference lead to two games over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Marco Belinelli and Patty Mills scored 12 points apiece and Kawhi Leonard added 11 for San Antonio, which shot 62.8 percent from the field and was 10-of-16 from 3-point range.

Derrick Favors scored a career-high 28 points and also collected 10 rebounds and three steals for the Jazz, who have dropped four straight games and nine of 10. Gordon Hayward added 17 points, Trey Burke scored 13 and Alec Burks had 12 for Utah, which fell into last place in the West.

The Jazz moved within 11 points after a three-point play by Favors with 8:48 remaining before Mills drained a 3-pointer to start a 11-4 run that saw San Antonio take a 108-90 lead with 6:11 to play. Jeff Ayres’ basket boosted the lead to 20 with 1:53 left as the Spurs finished off the win and improved to 26-8 at home.

San Antonio shot 60.5 percent from the field in the first half and had a 61-53 lead at the break. Utah crept within five midway through the third quarter before the Spurs finished with a flourish to take a 91-76 advantage into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Antonio has won 50 games for the 15th consecutive season. … Jazz C Enes Kanter grabbed 11 rebounds for his third straight double-digit outing on the boards. … The Spurs are 19-0 this season when Splitter scores in double digits.
