Timberwolves 112, Bucks 101: Kevin Love collected 27 points and 10 rebounds and Kevin Martin scored 26 as Minnesota took over in the second half to skip past visiting Milwaukee.

J.J. Barea scored 19 points off the bench and Nikola Pekovic added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Timberwolves, who drifted back above .500 at 32-31. Ricky Rubio collected 11 points, 10 assists and three steals for Minnesota.

Brandon Knight scored 21 points to lead the Bucks, who missed out on their first back-to-back wins of the season. Nate Wolters scored 14 points and Jeff Adrien added 12 points off the bench as Milwaukee fell to 5-25 on the road.

The Bucks shot 58.5 percent in the first half to take a 61-55 lead into the break and extended it out to 10 points early in the third before the Timberwolves started to turn things around. Love’s layup midway through the period put Minnesota up 74-73 and the Timberwolves brought a two-point lead into the fourth.

Milwaukee went nearly five minutes into the fourth quarter without a field goal as Minnesota took a 95-85 advantage. Back-to-back layups from Pekovic made it 105-88 with 5:07 left as the Timberwolves coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota has won eight of its last 11 games to stay within five games of the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 8 spot in the West. … Bucks C Zaza Pachulia recorded a career-high 10 assists to go along with nine points and six rebounds. … Milwaukee F Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) missed the game and is day-to-day.
