Pacers 94, Celtics 83: David West scored 24 points on 11-of-13 shooting as host Indiana defeated Boston to halt a season-worst four-game losing streak.

Paul George and George Hill added 12 points apiece for the Pacers, who increased their Eastern Conference lead to 1 1/2 games over the Miami Heat. Andrew Bynum contributed eight points and 10 rebounds in 16 minutes in his Indiana debut.

Jared Sullinger had 17 points and nine rebounds and Kris Humphries added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Chris Johnson tallied 14 points and Jeff Green chipped in 12 as Boston (22-42) clinched its first losing season since 2006-07.

The Celtics pulled within a point on Sullinger’s basket with 6:43 to play before the Pacers rolled off six straight for an 83-76 edge with 4:07 left. West scored four straight Indiana points to make it an 11-point margin with 1:27 remaining and Boston was unable to mount a late charge.

Bynum had eight rebounds in eight first-half minutes and Indiana led by as many as 14 before settling for a 49-40 lead at the break. The margin increased to 15 on Lance Stephenson’s basket with 3:36 remaining in the third quarter before Boston cut its deficit to 69-61 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Pacers shot 54.8 percent from the field and limited the Celtics to 35.2 while completing a four-game season sweep. … The Boston trio of Green (3-of-16), PG Rajon Rondo (4-of-15) and F Kelly Olynyk (1-of-9) were a combined 8-of-40 from the field. … The Celtics collected 20 offensive boards but were outrebounded 43-41 by the Pacers.
