Pelicans 112, Bucks 104: Anthony Davis had 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead host New Orleans past Milwaukee.

Tyreke Evans added 25 points and seven assists and Anthony Morrow scored 12 of his 16 points in the final quarter as the Pelicans won their second straight contest after an eight-game skid. Brian Roberts added 14 points and Eric Gordon scored 12 for New Orleans.

Khris Middleton scored 25 points and Jeff Adrien added a career-high 20 points to go with 10 rebounds for the Bucks. Ramon Sessions scored 16 points and Brandon Knight added 15 for Milwaukee.

Sessions scored the first two points of the fourth quarter to give Milwaukee its last lead before Davis followed with five straight points to give the Pelicans an 83-79 edge. Morrow scored 10 points in a stretch of just more than three minutes to make it a 102-92 margin with 4:09 left and Milwaukee was unable to make a late charge.

Davis had 16 first-half points as New Orleans took a 51-49 lead into the break. The Pelicans had a seven-point lead midway through the third quarter before Milwaukee used an 18-6 burst to take a five-point lead and New Orleans answered with the final six of the period for a 78-77 advantage.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova missed the game due to a one-game suspension for punching Sacramento’s Reggie Evans on Wednesday. … Tyreke Evans topped 20 points for the fourth consecutive game and is averaging 24.5 points during the stretch. … Milwaukee drops to 2-22 against Western Conference foes.
