Knicks 108, Jazz 81: Carmelo Anthony scored 22 of his 29 points in the first half and also had eight assists as host New York rolled to an easy victory over Utah.

J.R. Smith scored 17 points and Tyson Chandler added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won consecutive games for the first time since a four-game winning streak in late January. Chandler was 8-of-10 from the field and Smith made five of New York’s 12 3-pointers.

Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks each scored 18 points to pace Utah, which is 0-5 on a six-game road trip. Richard Jefferson added 12 points as the Jazz lost for the eighth time in 10 games.

Anthony has 18 first-quarter points as New York sailed to a 39-22 lead. The Knicks made 14-of-20 shots in the opening quarter and led comfortably the entire second quarter en route to a 60-41 lead at the break.

Utah moved within 14 points early in the third quarter but New York answered with a 14-3 burst to push the lead to 79-54. The Knicks led by 24 entering the final stanza and the lead topped out at 32 in the final minutes when New York rolled off 16 consecutive points.

Anthony has scored 20 or more points in each of the last 12 games. … Jazz PG Trey Burke (2-of-12) and F Marvin Williams (1-of-7) were a combined 3-of-19 from the field. … The Knicks had a 21-6 edge in fast-break points and scored 27 points on 19 Utah turnovers.
