Grizzlies 85, Bulls 77: Marc Gasol led five players in double figures with 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Memphis survived a defensive struggle at Chicago.

Mike Miller scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half for the Grizzlies, who finished a three-game road trip at 2-1. Mike Conley and Kosta Koufos had 12 points apiece and Zach Randolph returned from a one-game layoff due to the flu to collect 11 rebounds and 10 points.

Taj Gibson paced the Bulls with 18 points off the bench. Joakim Noah had 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists and D.J. Augustin tallied 14 points as Chicago lost for the second time in three games following a 9-1 surge.

The teams combined for 27 points in a sluggish first quarter before Augustin had 12 in the second to push the Bulls ahead 39-35 at halftime. Miller hit a jumper and three 3-pointers in a 16-2 surge that bridged the third and fourth quarters and left the Grizzlies with a 70-63 advantage.

After Chicago pulled within two points midway through the fourth, Tony Allen made a layup and then found Koufos in transition for another and an 81-75 lead. Gibson scored with 3:15 left to cut the Bulls' deficit to four points but the hosts never scored again, missing their last five shots.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago entered the night ranked second in the NBA in scoring defense while Memphis was third. ... The teams combined to shoot 11-for-41 in the first quarter. ... The Grizzlies had 10 of their 11 offensive rebounds in the second half.
