Lakers 107, Trail Blazers 106: Wesley Johnson scored the winning basket on a lob with 6.9 seconds left as visiting Los Angeles snapped Portland’s five-game winning streak.

Pau Gasol had 22 points and nine rebounds and Jodie Meeks scored 21 for the Lakers, who won their second consecutive game. Johnson scored 14 points and streaked to the hoop to receive an in-bounds lob from Kent Bazemore (14 points, seven rebounds) on the decisive play.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 points and Damian Lillard added 20 but the latter missed a 3-point shot at the buzzer. Robin Lopez had 19 points and 16 rebounds while Nicolas Batum contributed 17 points and 15 boards.

Los Angeles had a 103-94 lead after Jordan Farmar’s basket with 6:07 to play before the Trail Blazers rattled off the next seven points and eventually caught the Lakers at 105 on Wesley Matthews’ basket with 1:09 left. Lillard made a free throw with 34.6 seconds to give Portland a one-point lead prior to Johnson’s go-ahead basket.

The Lakers led by as many as 15 in the opening quarter and held a 63-56 advantage at halftime. Portland cut the margin to three late in the third and Los Angeles took an 87-84 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lopez had nine of Portland’s 20 offensive rebounds as the Trail Blazers recorded a 53-44 edge on the boards. … Lakers PG Kendall Marshall had 11 assists for his second straight double-digit effort. … Batum is averaging 15.5 rebounds over the last two games and had a career-best 16 in Saturday’s victory over Denver.
