Thunder 116, Bobcats 99: Kevin Durant fought through a tough shooting night to put up 28 points and Russell Westbrook added 26 on 10-of-12 from the field as host Oklahoma City pulled away for its seventh straight win over Charlotte.

Reggie Jackson scored 17 points off the bench and Serge Ibaka tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Thunder, who have won two straight following a three-game skid. Oklahoma City shot 50 percent from the field despite Durant finishing 8-for-24 and misfiring on all six of his 3-point attempts.

Al Jefferson scored 25 points and was the only starter in double figures for the Bobcats, who have lost two straight following a season-best four-game winning streak. Anthony Tolliver scored 17, Gary Neal added 12 and Cody Zeller chipped in 10 off the bench.

The Bobcats were within two early in the fourth quarter when Oklahoma City's reserves established a cushion as Jackson knocked down a jumper and Nick Collison scored consecutive baskets to push it to 92-84. Charlotte pulled within six on a Jefferson bucket with 6:09 left, but Durant scored two straight baskets off feeds from Westbrook to set off a 14-0 run as the Thunder eased away.

Oklahoma City led 61-55 at halftime but had a tough time pulling away with Durant struggling with his shot. After starting 5-for-6, the league's leading scorer missed 15 straight shots from the field before a dunk that put the Thunder ahead 85-79 with 47 seconds left in the third quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Durant has scored 25 or more points in 25 consecutive games. … Thunder G Thabo Sefolosha is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with a strained calf. … The Bobcats waived G Ben Gordon, who averaged 5.2 points in 19 games this season.
