Pacers 94, Jazz 91:
David West scored 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting as Indiana slipped past visiting Utah for its fifth straight victory.

Paul George added 22 points as the Pacers increased their Eastern Conference lead to 2 1/2 games over the Miami Heat. C.J. Watson added 13 points and Lance Stephenson scored 11.

Gordon Hayward scored 21 points but his last-second 3-point attempt bounced off the rim as the Jazz lost for the fifth time in seven games. Derrick Favors contributed 17 points and 10 rebounds and Trey Burke tallied 16 points.

Back-to-back baskets by Enes Kanter pulled the Jazz within 85-82 with 3:09 to play and Utah again moved within three on Favors’ dunk with one minute left. Hayward hit a 3-pointer to bring the Jazz within 92-91 with 4.6 seconds to go and Indiana’s Stephenson hit two free throws with 3.2 seconds left prior to Hayward’s game-ending miss.

Utah scored the first seven points of the second half to take a 53-45 lead but Indiana used an 11-0 burst later in the period to take a five-point advantage. The Pacers led 75-70 entering the fourth quarter and increased the margin to eight on Watson’s basket midway through the stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: This is the fifth time this season Indiana has put together a winning streak of five or more games. … Kanter (12) and G Alec Burks (11) also scored in double figures for Utah, which committed 18 turnovers. … Pacers PG George Hill (shoulder) missed his second straight game.
