Wizards 134, Raptors 129 (3OT): Marcin Gortat scored a career-high 31 points and John Wall had a pair of key steals in the third overtime as visiting Washington outlasted Toronto for its fifth consecutive win.

With the teams trading punches over all three overtimes, Washington used a pair of turnovers by Greivis Vasquez to secure back-to-back layups that gave it a four-point lead with just over a minute remaining in triple OT. Wall then put the game away with 28.9 seconds left, blowing past a flat-footed Tyler Hansbrough before hitting a soft layup to restore the four-point edge.

Wall added 31 points for the Wizards, who finished with an 80-46 edge in points in the paint. DeMar DeRozan's 34 points paced the Raptors, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Toronto led for the entire first extra period until Wall knocked down one of two free throws, then took advantage of turnover by Vasquez to hit the game-tying driving layup with 23.3 seconds remaining. Both teams struggled to do much in double OT, as DeRozan's layup with two seconds remaining forced a third extra session.

After taking a 57-54 lead into the second half, Washington extended its advantage to to double digits on Bradley Beal's jumper with 4:56 remaining in the third before Kyle Lowry and DeRozan provided all the offense during an 11-0 run that brought the Raptors within a point. Washington bounced back to carry an 83-78 advantage into the fourth, and the teams traded leads over the final 5:15 before Gortat's putback of Beal's miss tied the game with 5.2 seconds remaining.
