Trail Blazers 124, Nets 80: Mo Williams collected 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds off the bench as Portland had little trouble with visiting Brooklyn.

Nicolas Batum added 19 points and six assists and Will Barton posted his second career double-double with a season-high 20 points and 10 boards as the Trail Blazers picked up their fourth straight win. Damian Lillard scored 14 points and Victor Claver added 13 as the reserves totaled 68 points.

Deron Williams scored 12 points and Joe Johnson contributed 11 for the Nets. Mason Plumlee had 10 points off the bench as Brooklyn shot 39.5 percent from the field in its largest loss of the season.

The Nets took a 16-15 lead on Paul Pierce’s layup with 3:18 left in the first quarter but could not come up with much the rest of the night. Batum’s 3-pointer gave Portland the lead and sparked a 14-4 run closing the first quarter.

The lead reached 58-34 at the break as the Nets shot 33.3 percent in the opening half, and it was 69-40 just in front of the midway point of the third quarter. The Blazers took a 23-point lead into the fourth quarter and did not let up as the reserves took over the final period.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Nets C Jason Collins, who became the first openly gay player in a major North American sport on Sunday, went scoreless in seven minutes off the bench. … Brooklyn’s 34-point first half marked its lowest-scoring half of the season. … Portland built up a 53-29 advantage on the glass despite being without LaMarcus Aldridge (groin), Thomas Robinson (knee), Joel Freeland (knee) and Meyers Leonard (ankle).
