Jazz 110, Celtics 98: Alec Burks scored 21 points off the bench and Derrick Favors added 20 on 8-of-9 shooting to lead host Utah past Boston.

Marvin Williams scored 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Gordon Hayward had 10 assists as the Jazz halted a three-game losing streak. Trey Burke and Enes Kanter added 12 points apiece as Utah shot 55 percent from the field.

Jeff Green and Kelly Olynyk each scored 21 points for the Celtics, who lost their fifth straight game. Rajon Rondo contributed 18 points and 10 assists and has reached double digits in assists in six of his last seven outings.

The Celtics trailed by 18 early in the fourth quarter before making a push and cutting their deficit in half on a basket by Jerryd Bayless with 3:18 to play. Favors converted a three-point play with 1:47 remaining and Williams added a driving basket to make it a 14-point margin.

Utah shot 60 percent from the field in the first half en route to a 59-46 halftime lead. The advantage reached 17 on a basket by Williams with 7:05 left in the third quarter and the Jazz took an 83-68 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jazz F Jeremy Evans had a career-best four blocks. … Celtics F Jared Sullinger (mild concussion) missed his second straight game. … Favors missed the previous three games with a hip ailment and Utah has lost all nine games in which he hasn’t played this season.
