Magic 129, Knicks 121 (2 OT): Rookie Victor Oladipo scored eight of his 30 points in the second overtime, dished out a career-high 14 assists and grabbed nine rebounds as Orlando outlasted visiting New York.

Arron Afflalo recorded 32 points before leaving the game midway through the second overtime with an apparent ankle injury as the Magic snapped an eight-game losing streak against the Knicks. Tobias Harris had 22 points while Nikola Vucevic added 14 points and 15 rebounds for Orlando, which improved to 1-4 in overtime games.

Carmelo Anthony poured in 44 points, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, and Tyson Chandler had 14 points and 11 rebounds for New York. Raymond Felton and Tim Hardaway Jr. each chipped in with 15 points for the Knicks, who led by as much as 14 in the second half.

Vucevic missed a short shot to win it in the final seconds of the first overtime before Oladipo’s three-point play gave Orlando a 120-115 lead in the second OT. Anthony drained two 3-pointers to pull the Knicks within 122-121, but Oladipo answered with a three-point play after a dunk with 30.7 seconds left and New York did not score again.

Maurice Harkless scored five and Oladipo had a steal and dunk to highlight a 10-0 run that gave Orlando a 98-96 lead with 5:28 left in regulation. The Knicks scored eight of the next 10, but the Magic battled back to tie it at 106 on Afflalo’s turnaround jumper with 42.9 seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Magic officially announced Friday they have come to a contract buyout agreement with F Glen Davis, who averaged 12.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in 45 games this season. … Knicks G Iman Shumpert missed the game with a sprained left knee he suffered against New Orleans on Wednesday. … Harkless contributed 10 points, five rebounds and a pair of steals for the Magic off the bench.
