Mavericks 110, Grizzlies 96: Dirk Nowitzki led five players in double figures with 26 points as visiting Dallas won its third straight game.

Nowitzki was 10-for-14 from the floor and Brandan Wright went 6-for-8 en route to 17 points off the bench, part of a 53.8 percent showing for the Mavericks. Samuel Dalembert and Monta Ellis scored 14 points apiece and Vince Carter collected 13.

Zach Randolph led Memphis with 25 points and nine rebounds while Courtney Lee finished with 22 points. James Johnson added 17 points and four blocked shots in a reserve role for the Grizzlies, who have dropped two in a row following a six-game winning streak.

Memphis led by as many as nine points in the first quarter and eight in the second before settling for a 55-52 halftime lead. Carter buried a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the third quarter to put Dallas up 78-72 and Nowitzki opened the fourth with a jumper to make it an eight-point game.

Carter and Nowitzki engineered a quick 6-0 burst moments later and Shawn Marion's triple made it 95-82 midway through the final quarter. Dalembert, who also had 10 boards in recording his second double-double of the season, hit a pair of free throws and then threw down a dunk after a Nowitzki steal to make it a 16-point game as the Mavericks pulled away to improve to 3-0 in the season series.
