Bobcats 91, Warriors 75:
Al Jefferson bounced back with 30 points and 13 rebounds as visiting Charlotte crushed Golden State.

Jefferson, who was held to 10 points in a loss at Phoenix on Saturday, went 12-of-22 from the field while Gerald Henderson collected 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Bobcats. Anthony Tolliver added 11 points off the bench and Kemba Walker (ankle) chipped in seven points and seven assists in his return from a seven-game absence.

Stephen Curry recorded 17 points and 11 assists while Klay Thompson scored 12 points for the Warriors, who shot a season-low 31.2 percent from the field. Andrew Bogut grabbed 15 rebounds to go along with six points for Golden State.

The Warriors held a 7-5 lead less than three minutes into the game before going ice cold from the field. The Bobcats held Golden State to one field goal over the next seven minutes and grabbed a 26-13 edge after the first quarter as the Warriors went 6-of-25 from the field.

Curry’s jumper capped a brief run that pulled Golden State within 30-23 early in the second before Jefferson kicked off a 14-4 burst that kept Charlotte comfortably ahead. The Bobcats held the Warriors to 32.7 percent shooting in the first half to take a 51-39 lead into the break.

Thompson’s 3-pointer with 8:52 left in the third quarter cut Golden State’s deficit to 54-46 but Charlotte responded again, getting 10 points from Jefferson in a 14-6 spurt to push the lead to 16 points. Marreese Speights’ 40-foot heave at the buzzer chopped it back to 72-57 entering the fourth.

The Warriors again threatened in the beginning of the fourth quarter and the Bobcats swatted away the challenge once more. Curry’s jumper cut it to 72-60 before Tolliver hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Walker added another from beyond the arc to help push the lead to 21 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Warriors F David Lee (shoulder) started after a one-game absence but was held to eight points on 3-of-13 shooting in 23 minutes. … Curry went 1-of-7 from beyond the arc after hitting 12-of-17 in back-to-back wins. … Charlotte completed its four-game road trip with a 3-1 mark to improve to 11-15 overall away from home.
