Bulls 101, Suns 92: Carlos Boozer had 19 points and 12 rebounds as visiting Chicago halted Phoenix’s five-game winning streak.

Jimmy Butler and D.J. Augustin scored 18 points apiece as the Bulls won on the Suns’ home floor for the fifth straight time. Joakim Noah added 14 points and 14 rebounds as Chicago got back to the .500 mark.

Goran Dragic scored 12 of his 24 points in the final quarter for Phoenix, which shot just 38.8 percent from the field. Channing Frye added 18 points, Leandro Barbosa tallied 13 and Markieff Morris had 12.

The Bulls had an 89-80 lead on Butler’s 3-pointer with 4:43 to play before the Suns cut their deficit to 93-89 with 2:09 left on back-to-back baskets by Dragic. Boozer hit a big basket 26 seconds later and Chicago protected the lead with six free throws in the final 23 seconds.

Chicago held Phoenix to 30 percent shooting in the first half and led 44-33 at the break. The Bulls had a 13-point advantage early in the third quarter and settled for a 69-63 edge heading into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Noah was fined $15,000 for the profanity-laced words he hurled at the referees after being ejected from Monday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings. … Morris has scored in double digits in 11 consecutive games. … The teams combined for 40 turnovers – 21 by Phoenix.
