Hawks 120, Timberwolves 113: Kyle Korver scored 12 of his 24 points in the third quarter and host Atlanta held off a late charge led by Kevin Love to pick up its
fifth win in seven games.

Korver was 7-for-9 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers to extend his NBA-record run of games with a 3-pointer to 115 while Paul Millsap had 20 points and 13 rebounds before fouling out in the fourth quarter. DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague collected 19 points apiece for the Hawks, who have won 11 straight home games against Minnesota.

Love scored 21 of his 43 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 19 rebounds as the Timberwolves dropped their second straight following a 5-1 surge. Kevin Martin added 17 points and J.J. Barea had 12 before being ejected in the fourth after arguing with officials.

Love had 12 straight Minnesota points in just over two minutes to pull his team within 104-100 with 3:47 left and hit a 3-pointer with 1:25 to go to make it 112-109. Gustavo Ayon grabbed an offensive board and scored his only basket on the other end for Atlanta to push the lead back to five and the Timberwolves turned it over which allowed the Hawks to begin sealing it at the line.

After a back-and-forth first half, Korver hit a 3-pointer with 7:31 left in the third quarter to forge a 60-60 tie and added two more moments later to highlight a 25-6 outburst that put Atlanta in control. Minnesota got two triples in the first minute of the fourth to get within five, but Korver's runner sparked another surge and Shelvin Mack's 3-pointer with 7:04 left made it 97-86.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman was whistled for a technical foul with 4:52 left in the third. ... Hawks F Mike Scott scored 14 points and has reached double figures in 11 straight games....Millsap had 10 points to fuel a 14-3 run out of the gates but Minnesota charged back to lead 54-48 at halftime.
