Pacers 97, Nets 96: Paul George recorded 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Indiana survived a sloppy performance to beat visiting Brooklyn for the fourth time this season.

Roy Hibbert also contributed 20 points and three blocks while David West had 17 points and seven assists for the Pacers, who finished with a season-high 24 turnovers. Lance Stephenson had 14 points and George Hill added 10 as Indiana improved to 22-2 on its home court.

Shaun Livingston led the way with a season-high 24 points and Joe Johnson scored 16 for Brooklyn, which was outrebounded 46-27. Paul Pierce registered 15 points, Deron Williams had 13 and Kevin Garnett collected 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets.

Stephenson drained two free throws and Hibbert followed with a dunk for a six-point lead with under four minutes left, but Johnson’s 3-pointer pulled Brooklyn within 94-93 with just under nine seconds remaining. West made two free throws with 7.6 seconds remaining and Pierce missed a corner 3-pointer as the Pacers held on.

Brooklyn forced 13 turnovers and led most of the first half before Hibbert and George made consecutive baskets to give the Pacers a 46-45 lead at intermission. Hill scored five as Indiana recorded 12 of the first 14 points in the second half, but Pierce helped the Nets fight back within 72-70 after three quarters.
