Nets 103, Knicks 80: Joe Johnson hit four 3-pointers en route to 25 points as visiting Brooklyn blasted inter-borough rival New York for the second time this season.

Andray Blatche tallied 19 points and 12 rebounds off the bench and Alan Anderson added 15 points for the Nets, who have won seven of their last eight. Deron Williams returned after missing five games with ankle injuries, coming off the bench for the first time since he was a rookie in 2005-06 and scoring 13 points.

Carmelo Anthony collected 26 points and 12 rebounds for the Knicks, who have dropped four straight following a season-high five-game winning streak. J.R. Smith added 15 points and fellow reserve Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 11 for New York.

The Knicks stumbled out of the gate, going 7-for-17 from the field with seven turnovers in the first quarter as the Nets opened a 27-16 lead. Brooklyn shot 51.2 percent and got 20 points from Johnson in the first half en route to a 52-38 lead at the break.

Raymond Felton's 3-pointer and Anthony's three-point play coming out of halftime pulled New York within 52-44, but that was as close as the Knicks got in the second half. The Knicks shot just 33.8 percent from the field as Brooklyn allowed fewer than 100 points for the seventh time in eight games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Knicks have lost on Martin Luther King Day the past four seasons and are 18-10 all-time on the holiday. … The Nets, who host Orlando on Tuesday, are 6-2 in the first game of back-to-backs. … Knicks G Pablo Prigioni (toe) played for the first time since Dec. 16 but missed all three of his field-goal attempts and was limited to two points.
