Wizards 96, Bulls 93: John Wall had 23 points and 11 assists as host Washington held off Chicago to run its winning streak to three straight.

Bradley Beal and Martell Webster added 14 points apiece and combined to go 6-for-7 from 3-point range for the Wizards, who beat the Bulls for the second time this week. Marcin Gortat chipped in 13 points and Trevor Booker scored 12 off the bench as Washington put six scorers in double figures.

Kirk Hinrich scored 18 points to lead Chicago, which dropped a 102-88 decision to the Wizards at home on Monday. D.J. Augustin scored 16 points while Carlos Boozer and Taj Gibson each put up 12 points for the Bulls.

Gortat scored twice and Wall handed out a pair of assists during a 6-0 burst that gave Washington a 96-91 lead with 2:46 to play. Hinrich broke the string with a jumper but Jimmy Butler missed two straight 3-point attempts and had a third blocked by Nene as time expired.

Chicago led 70-62 with 5:18 left in the third quarter before Wall and Webster combined on a 10-0 spurt to put the Wizards back on top. The Bulls led by five early in the fourth but the Wizards recovered to take an 88-87 lead on Wall’s jumper with 6:20 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington moved back to .500 at 19-19 and pulled its home record even at 9-9. … Butler ended up with nine points on 2-of-9 shooting in 39 minutes after playing 60 minutes in a triple-overtime victory at Orlando on Wednesday. … Joakim Noah hauled in 12 rebounds for Chicago to reach double figures on the boards for the 11th consecutive game.
