Pacers 117, Knicks 89: Lance Stephenson poured in a career-high 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting and Paul George added 25 points and seven rebounds as Indiana cruised to its ninth straight home victory.

David West contributed 12 points for the Pacers, who improved to 20-1 at home. Roy Hibbert and Danny Granger each scored 11 points as Indiana clinched the season series against New York for the first time since 2007-08.

Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points on 8-of-17 shooting to lead the Knicks, who have lost two straight following a season-best five-game winning streak. Tyson Chandler had 13 points and nine rebounds and Raymond Felton and J.R. Smith each chipped in 12 points.

The Knicks came out hot, hitting 12-of-25 from the field while taking a 31-30 lead after one quarter. Indiana turned up its signature defensive intensity in the second quarter and outscored New York 33-17 to open a commanding 15-point halftime advantage.

George scored the first five points of the second half to stretch it to 68-48 and the Knicks didn't get closer than 16 the rest of the way. Smith's jumper pulled New York within 91-75 early in the fourth before Stephenson scored eight points during a 16-4 spurt to seal it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: New York F Kenyon Martin left in the second quarter with a sprained ankle and did not return and F Amar'e Stoudemire followed suit with the same injury in the third quarter. … Indiana has held 14 straight opponents under 100 points and has allowed triple digits only six times all season. … Anthony was 3-for-3 from 3-point range but the rest of the team was just 1-for-16 from outside the arc.
