Knicks 98, Suns 96 (OT): Carmelo Anthony racked up 29 points and 16 rebounds as host New York won its fifth straight game.

After Leandro Barbosa's free throws with 1.2 second remaining in regulation sent the game to overtime, the Knicks recovered to take control in the extra period. Kenyon Martin's putback of a Raymond Felton miss put New York up by four, Anthony added a mid-range jumper with 2:41 left and the Knicks held on from there to extend their longest winning streak of the season.

Felton had 19 points and J.R. Smith and Andrea Bargnani added 10 apiece in the win. Goran Dragic led the way with 28 points for the Suns, who have dropped three in a row and five of their last seven.

Anthony had 13 points and five rebounds in a dominant first quarter, propelling the Knicks to a 28-21 lead. The Suns closed to within four thanks to a 7-0 run fueled by five points from Dragic, but a long Felton jumper capped a retaliatory 10-0 surge as New York cruised into the break with a 52-43 advantage.

The Suns stormed back to tie on Miles Plumlee's putback slam with nine minutes left in the third quarter, but New York pulled away again - riding an Anthony 3-pointer to a 75-68 edge entering the fourth. Eight straight points from Barbosa drew Phoenix to within two early in the final quarter, Dragic put the Suns ahead on a driving layup and they held off the Knicks until Felton's 3-pointer near the end of the shot clock with 53 seconds left put New York up by two.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Martin was given a technical foul in the second quarter for shouting expletives after a slam dunk. ... Anthony's first-half double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) was his first of the season. ... Suns SG Gerald Green finished with just four points on 2-of-16 from the field - including 0-for-7 from beyond the arc.
